Tez Talks Q&A // Series 2 – Episode 4 (Teresa talks Connections, Body Image and Presence)

Hi guys!! Welcome back to Tez Talks Q&A, series 2! Can you believe we’re already up to episode #4! A big thank you to each and every one of you who contributed questions and our amazing community for tuning in, subscribing, leaving comments, sending emails and sharing your support for the series. We hope you love todays episode just as much as the first 3 of the series so far, Teresa absolutely loved putting these Q&A’s together. Today’s episode is filled with more amazing questions!

In today’s episode, #4, Teresa answers the following questions;

– Do you have any tips for someone who has difficulty connecting with other people? How do you attract the right people into your life?
 
– I know you touched on this in your last video, but I would like to know how to turn off all negativity when it comes to my body? It’s all I think about everyday and I end up moving backwards on my spiritual journey!
 
– How do I stay truly focused on the now, and stop worrying about the future? Do you know of any quick relaxation techniques for when you’re not at home or in a comfortable place to meditate?
In today’s episode we get to hear the sweet background music again 😉 Teresa starts off by discussing connections and relationships. She shares her advice on how to connect with people when it doesn’t necessarily come easy, tuning into your feelings and finding common ground. Teresa discusses how to make sure you are attracting the right people into your tribe. She then goes on to talk about body image and empathises with how this feels. She talks about how to block out the noise when it comes to judging your physical self, but rather go easy on ourselves, tune in internally and turn this around by reminding ourselves of the amazing nature of our bodies and all they do for us. Finally, Teresa talks about presence and how it is, infact, one of the hardest things to do in life because we’re often conditioned to worry about the past or the future. She shares what works for her and what she does to stay present or bring herself back to presence when she needs it.  Teresa runs through a little body scan exercise she does with herself that may be helpful for you to try at home!
