Recipe: Lady Lovin’ Latte

This Lady Lovin’ Latte is my fave coffee substitute and hormone balancing pick me up! It’s filled with superfood ingredients to nourish your body and keep your hormones in check (which can be the underlying cause for so many different issues…hormone health is so important!)


1 tsp chaga powder

1 tsp raw cacao powder

1/2 tsp ashwaghanda powder

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp coconut manna

1/2 tsp ghee (optional)

1 tsp raw honey

1 cup hot water

1/4 cup hazelnut milk or other nut milk of choice NO SOY! (the two primary phytoestrogens found in soy genistein, and daidzein, are known to disrupt the endocrine system, among other unfavourable side effects.)


Pop all ingredients in a blender and give it a whir to combine and froth

A couple health bennies of our key ingredients for lady lovin’ balance:
– Chaga mushroom is the highest known source of glutathione which decreases synthetic estrogen levels
– Ashwaghanda is a beautiful adaptogenic herb that balances mood and hormones by supporting the endocrine system
– Cacao powder (not cocoa) not only is one of the highest sources of magnesium, but boosts brain levels of serotonin, which drop when women experience PMS
– Raw honey is rich in antioxidants, and is known to balance stress and thyroid hormones
