Ever heard of Law of Attraction? It’s basically a way of the Universe declaring that what you think, you get. We are vibrational beings, constantly putting thought towards what we want and don’t want. The more you focus your attention on something you don’t like or aren’t enjoying, the more negativity you will attract into your life. The more you focus on what you like and what makes you feel good, the more positivity will be brought into your life.
It’s a neat little trick to living a successful, fulfilled life. But, it’s not that easy…. First you have to begin to observe yourself and pay attention to what you are thinking about. Mediation is a great tool to help fine tune your way-of-thinking towards a more positive, relaxed manner.
But think about it. The Universe receives your thoughts and gives it back to you. There is no wrong or right, no good or bad, only what you are thinking and feeling. And whatever you choose to focus on, will come back to you. Starting to make sense a bit?
It’s never been more important to focus upon good feeling things than it is right now. You have the power to create the most amazing life for yourself, and you do this by making the way you feel your most prominent task. It should be the most important thing in your world. I’ve come up with a few tips to help jump start your way of living to a more profound, enjoyable one.
1. Be Honest
This is the most IMPORTANT thing you can do, is practice honesty (satya/truthfulness). When you lie or create excuses or exaggerate stories, you are confusing your own psyche. Lying creates discord within you, for your heart only knows truth. When you lie, you multiply your fogginess, you become more indecisive, you are unsure of yourself and who you are. The more you lie to yourself or anyone else, the farther you fall down your own rabbit hole. So, start being honest about everything (this still means you must practice ahimsa (kindness)). Be honest about how you feel, about what you LIKE (focus on what’s good around you and what you want to attract into your experience), be honest about your emotions, everything!
2. Plant Seeds
Start planting positive seeds. Write affirmations and intentions in the morning for how you want to feel or what you want to bring forth to yourself. Constantly bring your focus back to what you like, what makes you feel good, what makes you happy. Contentment is your natural way of being. The more you plant positive seeds into your psyche, the easier it is for the Universe to know what you want.
3. Clean Up Your Vibration
Clean yourself up! (Saucha/cleanliness). Clean your desk, your room, your purse, your wallet, your car, your closet, your bathroom, your house! Clean yourself up. This will clear a lot of mind clutter by simply keeping your environment healthy and well. Eat clean foods to promote clarity and well being. Give thanks before each and every thing you eat, thank Mother Earth for always offering you the fruit of her action. Offer the fruit of your action to God. A clean space is the perfect breeding ground for miracles to occur.
Follow these three steps, and practice gratitude. It’s hard work, but the more you try, the more you will get out of this life. And don’t we all want to live the best lives we can?
